Michael currently works in the pharmaceutical industry in Clinical Operations helping run clinical trials to determine if an investigational product (drug) gets approved by various regulatory agencies before it can be used to treat a specific condition. He is also a co-owner of Craft & Spoon restaurant and Town Biz retail shop in Oakland, and Queen of Hearts art gallery and dispensary in San Francisco.
