Charleen Caabay

Co-Founder, Customer Experience

Charleen, aka “Chef Charleen,” is the first Filipino-American female chef to win the Food Network’s Chopped cooking show. Charleen recently opened her second restaurant, Craft & Spoon, and is co-owner of Town Biz retail shop, both in Oakland, and Queen of Hearts art gallery and dispensary in San Francisco. Complementing Charleen’s culinary talents is her passion for cannabis. She recently tapped her culinary knowledge and creative spirit to create the Damo Edibles line for BHC. Damo, which means “grass” in Tagalog, is a tribute to her Filipino culture and love for cannabis. Since its introduction, the Damo Edibles line has become popular with a loyal customer base, helping further differentiate and support the dispensary’s business. Charleen is an active builder of community and business relationships that have contributed to the success of the Benefit Health Collective.
